I have recently purchased v.5.3.1313. The application works well, it did recover my disk, but I have a few requests for improvement:
– Some actions can’t be interrupted. Scanning images for ex. can take a very long time in a 2TB disk and there is no way to interrupt this action. You can’t even close the app while it’s doing the scanning.
– If you plug a new drive when the app is already open, either it doesn’t detect it or it takes ages before you get any indication that it has detected it. This is confusing.
It would be great to have these issues fixed.

I am so grateful for this amazing product. I was able to recover files from my SDHC – photos of my grands that were so precious to me. The files were recovered in the form of .CHK files, which I had to rename to .JPG in order to render usable, and then, no problem! I was back in business.

I’ve got my teenager photos back from disk I found while moving out to another apartment. The disk was formatted multiple times and used for many years by 4 different people/PCs. Disk Drill managed to get me many old files with few clicks! Pro license was worth it, also has few extra features like backups, health checks, just great.
was involved in road traffic collision. footage was overwritten by time i reached home as small SD card and did not disconnect dashcam. I had no evidence to show police. disk drill recovered video of the collision, simple and so efficient. thanks !
First time I needed to recover a picture deleted by mistake from my SD card. Only some minor initial problems to find the picture and select it but then it went very smooth and now I have it back!

Some time ago I bought the Disk Drill’s paid version, to recover the files of a friend whose hard disk was damaged. If I had given it to a specialized data recovery company, it would have cost five times as much. This is my sincere testimony!
It recovered all the file that was accidentally deleted! Recommended if you are recovering up to 500mb as that is the max the free version can recover 🙂

*A thing to pay attention to and worth noticing is that when you buy it, the purchase run through paddle (you may not see the words disk drill or anything like it on the payment bill), so don't panic if you see paddle.net on your bill after the purchase.
